NotesPrompter turns Google Slides speaker notes into a teleprompter in Presenter View.

Move the reading target to match your camera lens, adjust the text and scrolling speed, and keep your notes in sync as you change slides.

NotesPrompter is free, with mirror mode, an adjustable reading display, and slide-number navigation. Version 2.0 adds configurable Current/Next slide previews. Speaker notes stay on your computer. The extension includes no analytics or advertising.

Install NotesPrompter from the Chrome Web Store. Version 0.11.1 is currently published; the 2.0.0 update was submitted on September 26, 2026 and is awaiting review.

Using NotesPrompter

1. Open your presentation in Google Slides and choose Presenter view from the Slideshow menu.
2. In the Speaker Notes window, click Open NotesPrompter.
3. Set your target in Settings and adjust the scrolling speed, then press Space to start or pause.

Keep the audience slideshow on the screen you share. NotesPrompter appears in the separate Presenter View window.
